Stopped in a Reef Aquarium store in Mundelein IL and was very impressed with it. The owner Matt was very knowledgable when I was talking with him. Store has a large coral selection including frags for $5 which is great for those Nano builders. He also has a fresh water and salt water fish selection.

They have a very nice collection of used sumps and aquariums at some good prices.

So if your in the Lake County IL area and in the Mundelein area on Route 45 (south of Route 176), stop in Sho Tank on 433 N. Lake St or check out the website at http://www.shotankaquariums.com

I know what you mean, not sure where you live but my LPS selection in the winter sucks!!

They had some good prices on tanks earlier in the year. Think I seen a 180gal w/overflow going for $500 new.

I stopped into this shop last weekend and talked with the owner which he turns out to be a very nice guy. Very helpful and upfront on the questions that I asked him.

Well, he was talking about the tank he has coming in and of course I had to ask what size he got thinking like 180g or maybe a 210g or even maybe a 300g that he would say.

He tells me they have a 1300g tank coming in and it will be built into a MegaReef aquarium! (no I did not add an additional zero, it's 1300g)

I'll bring my camera and see if I can snap some pictures.

Well I stopped in the store yesterday and the tank is on it's stand, no water and no lights. They are planning to start filling it up in the next week or so.

I'll stop again this Sunday and take some photos. The tank looks amazing, it must be 18feet long!!!
