    My new water change method

Big SmileBefore I mixed up saltwater in a 29gallon container, siphon out 29gallons of water into another 29gallon container. Once the siphon water was done, I rolled the container over to a drain in the floor and bagan taking buckets of water out into the drain.

To refill the tank with the new fresh water, I just took a 1 gallon bucket and started to fill the tank from the 29gallon container.

    My new process is...

I setup a 29gallon tank in the sump area to mix the new saltwater. Once the new water is ready, I then siphon directly out of one of the tanks in the drain on the floor. I'm using an pump to now move the water from the 29gallon tank into the sump.

    So much easier.

I bet I could make water changes even better. Big Smile

So what is your process for a water change? Big Smile
