    Dimmable MH ballast

I have seen dimmable MH on the market and can't figure out if they are worth spending the $$$ for.

What makes dimmable ballast worth it?

Dimmable ballast are good when changing to new bulbs and reducing the bulb strength with the new bulbs so it won't bleach the corals.

Another way to prevent this is just reduce the amount of time the lights are on when you first replace the bulbs.

    135g Main Tank/ 125g Frag tank with 55g sump.
