How do I start an overflow box?

    HELP!!!!

Purchased a used overflow today at a garage sale for $20 with the u-tubes running from the in tank box to the outer box. Thought it would be a simple thing of starting the water running but have been working at it for the last 1/2 hour. Dipping the tube into the water and trying to maintain it isn't working.

How do I start the flow? What's the trick? Angry

No trick. Just put the u-tube into the overflow box. Slip an airline hose up to the top "U" and then just suck the air out. It should start flowing. Yes
