    bubble anenome

i have a 29 gallon biocube. my anenome has decided to go into the bottom intake, where there is no access for me to get to. How do I get him out. I have tried to leave the pump off for a couple of hours to see if he will come out on his own but no luck. any suggestions?

    welcome to reefforum Yes

i would wait it out, a few hours is very little time and it could take days before the bta decides to move. i would get another power head and place it in the take to provide water movement.

     good luck Yes

local fish store told me to wait it out also. im just nervous, if he dies back there he will just decompose and possibly make my amonia levels go through the roof. hopefully he will just come out soon. he's been there since Sunday.

well, after 10 days he came out, only to find him back in there the next morning..next time he decides to come out, he's going back to the store.

    duh

Could you place anything over the opening to prevent him from entering it again?

    sorry to hear that. [:'(]

I have stayed away from anenomes for many years until a few months ago I decided to get a BTA. Strange creature to have, they move around the tank. Overall I would do it again because they are cool.

    Have you had them before?
