    Sand bed depth?

    What does everyone have for a sand bed depth. Friend was over and thought my 4" was too deep.

     It ranges from a 1/4" to 4". Depends on the flow of the powerheads. Big Smile

     4" isperfect! At Inland Aquatics, where I work on weekends, our tanks have 6" sand bed.

     2 to 3" now but i was thinking of removing all of the sand and going bare bottom.
