Yesterday I hooked up my Precision Marine Kalkreactor to the 135g setup.This evening should be my first dosing of kalk from the PM Kalkreactor!

Since I never hook one up before it was a ton of fun  I was hoping for better directions.

Well I checked on it this evening and it did go on. I got my first dosing of kalk in the tank this evening.

Just a minor issue, I think it's dosing too much kalk water into the sump at any given time so I need to work out a solution. Basically I have a float that determines water level for the entire 55g sump. Thinking now the volume is greater then what I want the float to work with to determine low water. Does this make sense?

Baffles in the sump?

Any ideals?

The only way you know if your dosing to much kalk is to take pH measurments after it dosed. Reducing the water volume does make sense.

Raggy, I dom`t use one . But a friend has his Precision Marine Kalkreactor set on a PH monitored.

A controller is on my X-Mas list.
